Data Publication and Discovery
The HECC Data Publication and Discovery team offers a range of services to help you share your data with other NAS users, external colleagues, or the public.
Basic Services
- Provide and maintain a central NAS Data Portal where you can upload your data to share as well as search, browse, and download datasets shared by others
- Build domain portals to share data within a specific scientific or engineering community

Additional Services
The Data Publication and Discovery team can work with you to find custom solutions to your issues in the areas of data storage, data sharing, and data placement. Such services may require external funding based on the level of effort.

Record of Success
When researchers from NASA and the New Jersey Institute of Technology needed a way to share heliophysics data from a variety of space- and ground-based observatories, they worked with the HECC team to develop a unique data repository that enables fast search and automatic identification of all recorded solar flares—providing the heliophysics community with a new tool enhance the scientific output of solar research.
